The Ghosts of Infusion Sites Past

Sometimes, when I change my pump site, the old site looks like this…

The only word I can think of to describe it is angry.  The glue on those gauzy stickers just clings to my skin and, after peeling off an old infusion set, I’m often left with a mark like this.  Does anyone have advice for making an old infusion site less red, irritated and painful-looking?  Or, if I have to be stuck with these marks, does anybody have a suggestion for making them look cooler?  You know, maybe more like a skull and cross bones and less like a flattened circle.  Let me know.  Any and all advice is appreciated.
